Doctor Who Daleks In Colour DVD from DVDLand.
The story follows the very first crew of the TARDIS as they land in a petrified forest on an alien planet. Determined to explore, the Doctor (William Hartnell) leads his companions into the metal city, where they discover danger at every corner and what will become his deadliest enemy, the mutant Daleks. The seven original 25 minute episodes have now been colourised and weaved together into a 75 minute blockbuster. With brand new sound and a new score - created by Mark Ayres - The Daleks has been gloriously updated, whilst ensuring the original classic story remains as thrilling as it was when it was first seen back in 1963.

Reading some other web reviews, you might think that this "reimagining" of The Daleks is a butchering of the original, with garish, inappropriate colours, incoherent story and overbearing new music that obscures the dialogue. I found none of these things true. I am old enough to have watched it first time round (I was that small boy hiding behind the sofa). Of course, I have owned the first DVD (part of "The Beginning" box set) ever since it came out, so the second disc in the new set, which is identical to the earlier release, is somewhat redundant. The new edit does indeed cut out more than half of the original footage, and this results in a couple of unfortunate non-sequiturs in the story, but these are really only obvious to someone familiar with the original. I found the several "flashbacks" rather unnecessary and irritating, though. The colourisation I actually thought well done, with the only annoyance that the skin tones of all the (human) characters seemed to be absolutely identical. The new Mark Ayres music I thought excellent and, though it was over-loud in spots, it didn't obscure the dialogue at all.
Overall, a worthy addition to the range.
